Hello 2011! Massive Update coming up!

Ok... so many things happened since i last posted... soooooo many many million things.

1st... if you have been here before, u'd have noticed that i changed the design... tot this color scheme might be easier on the eyes...

2nd... exams are long over. i screwed up badly. praying that i dont fail any subs now... course registration is tmr... (so fast!) and i just picked the core modules that i will be taking in the coming sem. we get to pick 4 from a few this time round... electives? ah crap stuff, i'm just picking watever i can fit into my timetable. jap lvl 5 clashes with my stupid human resource management core... yes i'm depressed.

so... in the last IT show... i got a macbook pro, and i bootcamp installed xp to run maple... and with it i solved my maple dc problem. BUT there are some stupid bootcamp issues. bootcamp wont install properly so the drivers for stuff like the mac keyboard and all are missing. i cant use teh mac fn keys, i cant see the mac drive (means i cant access any of the files in my mac side of the lappy when i'm using xp)... sucks but... guess i have no choice... tried things like deleting the whole bootcamp n re-installing but it doesnt work... tried reinstalling the bootcamp on xp but it wont install... eventually i gave up... at least the gd thing is that i dont need to use the soft keyboard when logging on the maple... maple wont recognise the mac keyboard at the login screen, and its quite a chore to use the soft keyboard to type out my exceedingly long username n password... so now i can go zak/czak ht/cht etc w/o dc-ing (hopefully), but there isnt a batch recruiting + i gotta check out my time table after i register n aft sch reopens. sch reopening on the 20 smthing of jan... so fast...

trained my db to lvl 100, realised that by waiting till my exams end to buy the CS sb the discount was already over, so i gave up on training db to lvl 120 n beyond.... for now... till the BB patch is out perhaps... now i wanna do other non-maple (or at least not in-game) stuff and go whack all the bosses that i've always wanted to previously... so far i've solo-ed krexel and scarlion!

also went for cwkpq with flame. thk you very much for organizing the run flame... i got my MoN in the run, and it was one with hidden potential too! revealed to only have 2 lines... but oh wells, that neck is a million years better than my mcpq1 neck... here it is:

than i went to solo krex with ny new MoN (not on the same day lah). SS are as follows:

after that... not much activity... than since there was the xmas/new year 15% off online sale, i went to... yes, bearing with the heartache... no kidding, i was really contemplating to wash out or not... in the end i decided to buy acash n wash all those 11 lvls of ap in my hp/mp pool out. decided to wash out since i have been waiting for the opportunity for 1 year, no, even longer than that... there might not be another ap reset sale again... esp since i vowed to wash out before bb comes...

so i washed out the ap, and calculated and realised the 5ap that i left unused could be washed out too, so that was a total of 60ap added into str (compared to when i did my krexel run)... with that, i've washed a total of 39 lvls so far. n so last night... i went to try soloing scar. with a lvl 72 prx in my guild... help the prz helm for free but he still say want to share mesos... want me give him 10m somemore zzzzzzzz. of cos i didnt give him any. dropped a nice gfa 60% but the shoe spd 60 n 2h sword att 60 arent worth much, gfa probably sell ard 10+m nia? not like i'm gonna sell it anyway, gonna keep for my reverse glove or some other glove next time. somemore i let him loot the wand and the mana pots too... (yes, he was slacking during b3, i.e. he nvr do anything at all. say he long time bo play n his acct tio hack, not that i'm cold hearted, but i dont go ard giving mesos, i'm not rich either... and i did help him helm for free didnt i? if he was attacker than sharing the drops wouldnt be a problem, but it isnt the case here. not that he was being a brat and demanding to be paid, but i just found it... a bit inappropriate for him to be asking to share the drops) dropped 3 helms total, he got 18 all on 1st try. was contemplating rehelm but in my hesitation the helms disappeared. guess i will go solo again for my rehelm. my scar that time pot scroll n identify only 2 lines... wanna get a 3 liner...

ok, so here are the SSes... tho i have 60 more str than the krex run, this time i only used range and enrage, all self buffs, no stew!

honster usage really quite little... with pg and my yet to max archilles i only take like 5k touch damage. 5k as in 50XX kind... low 5k touch... quite little. and my hp quite alot, makes the pot more worth it... note that although i used a longer time, i used lesser mp pots than krex. that just goes to show how long the super WD up lasts... -.-''' waste alot of time yeah...

since i xfer over my 1h sword attack scrolls, decided to scroll my flairgrave too. cos its really useless n just sitting in my inv for nth right now... end up... same fate... 1st slow passed. 2nd slot KABOOM

made another reverse 1h. this time with int power since i ran out of adv power liao. 110wa (note all bo use stim), 3 str... -.-''' 1st slot failed. 2nd slot KABOOM.

3 KABOOMs in a day...

total 5 reverse 1h made, only 1 survived --> DUH will survive, i only used 60%s.
2 reverse shoe made, 1 boomed, 1 clean and unpotentialed.

really slacked the entire weekend after chionging two lab reports last week. 1 more due this week and this week got lab also, which means another lab report. quiz next week too... didnt do very well for my elective quiz last fri... oh wells. its late, time to sleep!

yes, the potential system is out... and i boomed my reverse shoe with a potential scroll... the only item i boomed to far tho thankfully. major mesos and cash burner. cubed a bit on my sword, nut only ended up with 6% str and 3% str. two lines only. i've banned myself from further cubing till... maybe next year? after CNY? idk. no more buying acash... i did get some permanent CS eq tho... a glasses to cover my ugly owl mask, the mp3 earrings, and a wing effect...

so i managed to get random eq like a top with 3% str n dex, lvl 60 bot with 2% str, lvl 40 shoe with 2% str... all mob drops with hidden potential... now i can finally hit 40+k even with my spd eq...! can see 45k or so w/o crit at scar b3... finally broke the 40k barrier for me lol... now i'm just a whee bit short of 1 dish 1 rush kill skeles... and a little bit from there to 1hko skeles... sigh. miracle cubes is the answer but i'm not taking that.

went scar with my friends twice... 1st time i ended up almost soloing b3... by soloing i mean the one dealing damage... left with a prz who heal only (duh, wat else can a prz do right?), flame on his 12x evan... who cant help much cos his range not far enough (compared to flame wheel), than he keep tio kb... and of cos scar keep MD up... took ard 1hour to down b3... not too bad considering the last time i solo part of b3 i took 1.5hours -.-'''
was quite stressing tho, cos flame a bit prone to dying, prz also just nice can tank scar with hb (oh, they got a lvl 6x hber)... than sometimes the db and hber come all the way to look see... keep asking them to go up -.-''' i DID rush wrongly 3 times, 1st time was in b2 and scar didnt move, or it was behind me, i cant rem... but the other 2 times happened in b3. flame saw i rush wrong side also... but thankfully both the times scar was BEHIND me. cos i walk back, didnt give keyboard/game enough time to turn ard than press rush... and was messed by the crazy skull thing that keep activating when i'm walking into position for the next rush... a while nvr go scar liao, and last few times i go all have other rushers ard, and i only rush very occasionally... i tend to save time rushing by letting scar walk onto me le than rush. else rush, walk back, if scar walks out at the same time, once u walk out already need rush again - basically u are left with no time to dish (plus i wearing damage eq, spd 115 nia!) oh yeah... actually there was a NL whacking scar b3 too, but he very weird lah, stand so close and whack... he was standing right where i was standing to whack. 1st time scar walk out, he bo fj away also... scar touched me... and him... and tomb. that was within like 1min of b3 -.-''' gotta say the hb-er really nice (well all flame guild de ppl except me), stay the entire fight just to hb, and nvr loot anything. (i mean, nice as a person... if it were me i'd be erm, bored to death?) the prz also very pro. banged into scar once n didnt die... well i've seen bishps died in scar before... this person prz only with barely enough hp n mp to tank (with hb, w/o hb will die) and didnt die... and healed well enough such that i only spent like 20-30 honsters, almost all of which was when they went to take hb. well i guess my 21k hp and the pg + archilles helps too... take 5k+ damage per hit from scar only. ard 5.2k i think.

yest wanted to help flame zak, but end up when zak summoned i see a 2arm-ed creature. gg.com. dc in a few minutes after that... but still considered not bad liao. the moment zak summoned i think 3 or 4 ppl str dc lol. this patch is really cmi lah. went zak before the patch and didnt dc until this lame person decided to take an SS of my guildee's mega for reaching lvl 200. than black screen n gg.com. but that was in like b2 i think. not like yest summoned a few mins than dc. but in the end... flame died... the 12X aran died and wheeled dunnoe how many times... left cow and 15X evan solo. evan damage is really pawnzor i tell u. can main cow... went scar that night, evan was there too (bs dc-ed, law dc-ed shortly after start, flame died...). his flame wheel can hit like 130k or smthing with crit... w/o crit 80k+ or so... wearing ele wand so partly why his damage so high... but that's like... the dps probably wont lose to me if we just standing on one spot spamming the attack. not to mention the range is crazy... in zak hit arms on both sides. gotta check out on evan attack spd now, but i think no have the data... and in the latest revamp on KMST i think evan attack spd was made faster... i think i can do 1.5 to 2 dishes in 1 flame wheel cast, but that's a rough estimate from the scar battle. anyway in actual bossing evans have a harder time cos they have to keep adjusting their position n keep getting kb, whereas warriors have stance. <3 stance really. pretty much the best thing abt the warrior class. also, in zak i would tank body so that i wont get stunned (cow didnt in yest de zak), but evan stay outside and will keep get stunned, lowering dps. anyway last night de scar took total 1hour... quite fast... evan powerful haha... dropped 3 helms, evan took all since i pot scrolled and passed on my scar helm... well 2 lines only and i'd rehelm IF i had pot scrolls with me, but now i dont have any. didnt drop any eq, got a spirit claw 30 (had one from the previous day's scar too, price check anyone?), and the only useful scrolls was a staff ma and a 1h sword att. quite cute, i picked up the staff ma and the evan the sword att, than we switched scrolls lol. considering the last time when i sweeped 1h sword att the CHEAPEST i found were like 3-4m, and i only spent ard 200 honsters (1.2m), i guess the run was quite worth the effort. more importantly i was wanted to go bossing for fun lol. mesos wasnt part of my consideration want to try soloing scar and krexel. i think will take ard 2hours each? considering an almost solo scar b3 was ard 1hr... yest only spend ard 200 honsters at scar... if solo say use 600 honsters? still ok lah... anyway just want try for fun and see my noob timing. went clock yest n sg boss yest and these where my timings... clock i went with flame (he hide at the side and help me take timing, thks!) before the potential system patch, best timing out of 2 rounds was 8mins 2secs. yest best timing was 6mins 17sec... sg boss took only 20secs, 8 secs off from the pre-potential timing... evan sg boss best timing ish 2mins 5 sec, lvl 104
potential scrolled helms can give u 10% chance to show a random emoticon for 10secs when hit by mobs... this one is 10% chance to FEEL TOUCHED... i so seriously need this man...

today's a public holiday! whoohoo! but.... i've got two lab reports due in a while, and the info lit project due next week... ewwwww T.T

quite alot of things happened in maple since my last post... the halloween event belts and olivia chair... i went on cwkpq runs and didnt dc yay! the batch was really screwed up tho and... i left just after i joined... had a lounge outing to JCC for the anime/manga exhibit

the exhibit was really disappointing. unless u are going to pick a manga and plonk there and read, there isnt anything else to see really. quite alot of books for you to read alright, but not really something u'd do when going on an outing with friends. we had mos burger before walking to JCC, than went to ion orchard and slacked in BK... later walked to taka... nothing to do, than walked to plaza sg... went daiso... nothing to do... than go home! lol...

mousehunt had a halloween event too... collected the seeds and blueprint but still yet to make the trap - tho i want to collect but its kinda expensive and i wont ever use the traps since they are weaker than what i already have. (so purely for collection purposes only)

i helped a bl of mine (actually, the guy who went ravanna with me in my last post, that's how we meet!) scar helm... with my guildmates and fellow loungers







me, law, n flame... our 1st olivia chair! cos the drop rate of the dolls was pathetic at 1st... the three of us completed the quest on 3 chars so that we can help each other get the chair. later the drop rate was increased and we chairs on 4 chars each, with plenty of time to spare before the event ended :)






the belts i scrolled... decent wa/ma... not superb, but i'm happy with it already.



my evan also went to smash sg boss... super fast down... less than 1 MG cast time gao dim...

sch... is screwed up i tell you...

1stly... my time table suxs to the core. 30mins lunch break on monday? 8:30am classes everyday.... classes end at like 5:30pm almost everyday... loads of breaks in btw classes.... cos somehow they no longer offer my favorite 5:30-7 slot for my jap elective i had to pick the morning class - heck, there are only 3 to pick from, not a lot of choice really, the other two classes all starts at 4:30 which wonderfully clashes with all my 3:30-5:30 lectures. so i had to pick the lab class on wedn morning instead to accommodate my jap elective... so that makes 5 whole days of morning classes when it could have been four. (otherwise my lap would have been on thurs afternoon)

2nd and most pissing reason...
as i've just written abv.... i purposely picked the wedn lab so that i can take jap. than this week, cos wedn the lab will be cut by 1 hour due to some union day crp... the lecturer happily canceled the lab on wedn and put it on thurs! great, now it clashes with my jap. too bad, i went for jap class and cut 30++mins of lab. not like anyone apart from my group mates knew or noticed. they are super heck care really.

than the situation is gonna repeat next week...

arghs, cant stand the sch! next week's lab = go bukit timah hill on field trip. they happily go by alphabetical order, and cos my name right at the end a whole bunch of us got assigned to thursday group instead cos wedn not enough space or smthing... i.e. repeat of this week's time table clash except this one is totally cmi cos its a field trip -.-'''
zzzzzz emailed the person n ask for a swap liao but this is dam zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

at 1st i tot, ok, they want to make it fair and give everyone 3hours, tho we didnt use more than 2 hours.... than my friend whose lab is supposed to be on thurs say (they separate the groups into labs at the basement n on 2nd floor) the lecturer told them to finish up fast cos someone was gng in to use the lab at 1:30 (2 hours aft the lab session starts). than he say they shdnt use more than like 1.5hours or smthing... great? why did wedn's lab get canceled than??? and why the heck is someone coming in to use the lab when its originally our year 3 lab time slot???? this is just so screwed i dont even know wat to make of it anymore... (if the arguement was that some lab session was held during wedn's timeslot, hello... that's supposed to be our timeslot, why isit taken up by others? cos of union day? all that shd have been planned and taken into account earlier on right? lack of communication btw the uni n the schs? screwed up stuff really)

than the sch came up with new measures like installing lockers outside the lab for us to put our bags... but hte lockers are so pathetically small... -.-''' i didnt try but i most likely have to empty my bag to fit it in -.-''' my friend with a bag smaller than mine had to take out her water bottle, file, and laptop to put her bag in... THAN put them in the locker individually (still the same locker, but the big package as a whole couldnt go in) like wth lah... thankfully if my labs are on wednesdays i shdnt need to bring my lappy or anything, so i can bring a smaller bag and fit everything in... but like yest with my laptop, jacket, japanese tb and notes... other leture notes etc... i didnt even waste my time trying, just bought it str to the lab. and its quite stupid becos they already had a cupboard thing on each bench for us to put our bags... zzzzzzz


than the electives system... of having to clear blah blah blah no. of academic units(AUs) in each category. too few choices offered, too few slots for those popular classes... and worst still more than 70% of the prescribed electives clash with my timetable EVERY SEMESTER. for some categories like biz where there are few courses offered, its as good as every course clashes with my core that sort of thing... at the end of the day, i'm just picking anything that i can bloody hell fit into my timetable, regardless of whether i like it or not (so long as i wont fail...). expanding our horizons and letting us pursue interests outside of our degree? yeah right man. which leads me to the next crappy thing i have this sem...

tired... time to slp... heng tmr morning lect dunnoe why canceled. only got a stupid info lit thing in the afternoon. would have skipped that too if not for the stupid project group forming thing... haiz.

its really stupid... she was talking abt searching google... going/using databases... and i'm like... google even a 3 year old kid can do... databases - we learnt using biological databases in sec sch... and they taught us again in uni... and we just had a talk in usin ghte sch library resources... and as the admin of HS-SEA (a DB)... wat the h3ck am i doing in the class really???

i cant believe that the sch actually pays the lect to come and teach stuff like this!

no im not being biased or anything but the kind of stuff she said in the 1st lecture was like... things u might say to primary 1 or kindergarden kids. in terms of the content, the way she said it... the lame, pointless stories she tells... haiz, i would have skipped all the rest of her lects but than there's some stupid project work thing... oh wells... for the free A... and to clear my AUs to graduate... at least there's powerpoints every seat in the lt and i can do stuff on my lappy...

ring event: managed to get rings for aran, hero, evan, dual blade to come... made a sin, but sadly made it to like 45 or smthing only and didnt get the ring T.T

the sunburst and the ravana hat: we all know abt how the event ended early and such... in the end only my aran managed to get a helm... but its a nice BLUE helm... really surprised... all the scar helms my hero looted were understat... this one is... abv average cool!

Back from china on sun just after midnight. Still have not uploaded the pics to my comp yet :x got alot of sorting out to do... :x like 10gb worth of photos hurrah!

Yesh, Taiwan trip pics my dad save to external hard disk le, but I've not even seen them, my comp don't have enough space for all the pics... 1 trip 10++ gb. Taiwan trip my dad bring his nikon and that's probably another 10gb :x

Got all the classes I opped for this sem, guess they give priority to year 3 n 4s I guess.

My friend whom i stayed with for the past 2+ wks will be staying over at my hse till she manages to get hostel or accommodation else where. Thks to the yog I think alot of foreign students are facing accommodation problems. Heard alot of ppl can't get hostel rooms. Heh, kinda looking forward to it, 1st time a classmate ish staying over at my hse! She ain't here yet tho, got some stuffs to settle in cn and she obviously doesn't mind skipping the start of sch :p

Not been writing since there was no wifi. N cos I lazy, n those days in shanghai world expo were really crazy. So I guess I'll just talk abt some random stuff, with the random very few pics I took on my phone. Didn't take a single pic on my phone at world expo sorry... Too crowded, too hot... Some traditional food from there, name as in pic. Quite plain n hard, only ate like 1 mouth cos I was super full already. Ate 鸭血汤 before that. Super nice but it's 麻辣.
