So the maplestory forums have been moved to playpark forums late last night... and i managed to get my tagging process completed too. Cos i made a playpark id with the same username as my old forum nick, posts made by my old forum nick were changed to be made by AP_darkiller... and during the tagging i had to use that as the username else i couldnt log in. I wanted to keep my old userid (tho the new one was identical) as well as all my stats... esp all my stats! like the join date and post counts :X... so i tagged my account and checked the box... only the fret later that whether my user id will end up getting changed to AP_XXX :X

So i posted in the login thread and the mod kindly assured me that she'll automatically remove all AP_ prefixes from the userid. Phew. Must say that this forum migration gave me a great impression of Astrea... with like so many requests and everything, she still replied to the qns and rather quickly too... partly cos it was still early and not THAT many requests have gone in yet? Either way, a round of applause to Astrea! i bet she's swamped in requests and all by now... of ppl who missed the once in a lifetime opportunity to tag and later want to tag... she even had a post double checking whether some ppl who picked not to keep the id really meant it that way... that totally surprised me. Like... with so many ppl... why u bothered to check? :X

A couple of loungers took the opportunity to change forum nick, or to 'revive' an old banned account... some even decided to start anew and not tag.

Oh yeah... a couple to things to note:

- If you're a thread starter of some important threads... like guides or job discussion threads, i'd advise you to tag because you wouldnt have control over those posts otherwise (cant edit the posts anymore, since you've become a different user). If its just some selling thread with not many other ppl posting inside... then you can just make a new thread no biggie.

- after tagging with ASF account is the the dot that says newbie and all is strangely gone..

- and i can have a 3-lined siggy (since siggies are brought over from the old site when tagging)... but once change anything they want it to be kept to 2 lines le -.-

- new forums uses the thread name as url... i think this is badddd... guess it means i cant play ard with the thread title anymore eh? also means like the lounge with a super long thread title has a super long url :X

i really dont like the 2 lines limitation for siggies :X

The new forum also keeps the 1st post at the top of every page... and the spacing in the new forums in like ultra big. So the 1st thing i did after the tagging was completed was to edit the 1st post... made it more compact and added a RIP and Reincarnation list XD

Wondering if i should move the lounge's super long history to the 2nd post just so that we dont have to keep seeing that horrendously long thing (over 50 past threads! that's 50 lines of now outdated url!)
