sad... i want my SSes back!

okays, since i dropped by, i might as well make a post.

3 more papers down, 3 more to go. since this site is supposed to be abt gaming... i shant bore u with details of my last horrible, horrible paper.

apparently i burned my VGA card again... quotation from acer was way too steep, my dad sent the lappy for repair at some shop in sim lim... everything is working fine now, but becos windows recommended me to restore the system to an earlier save point in a failed attempt to repair the comp... TONS of my maple SSes were wiped out T.T

TONS... like 2-3k of them... alot of those were quest information, pqs information, lvl up SSes, my flairgrave making... my SM reaching 120... all gone T.T

esp the pqs... i took a ton of SSes... my policy is to take pictures 1st, then sort them out later when i have the time... and i have not sort out any in a long time so... haiz. its like i'm not even very sure of the extend of SSes i lost. T.T

have not looked through at the SSes i have left, but i really hope the subway pq information is still there - all my chars save for the storage guys have over leveled for the pq already... and gotta bring my aran1 or nw to the ghost ship pq again since those SSes are definitely gone.

hmm... dont think i mentioned it here... but finally all my arans have reached lvl 50 and collected their lirin's ring! gd gd... evan's out next... hmm... wonder what extra's will be coming out with evans.

so for my maple CNY resolutions i made long ago:
NW to 3rd job - exceeded
hero to 16X - exceeded
SM to 120 - reached
obtain 3 lirin's ring - completed

got a paper tmr morning... but blah, i just feel like typing out smthing more today.

plenty of HS updates to do after my exams are over. have not completed adding in stuff for v0.92 yet.

got loads of projects planned for maple related, admin stuff. (copy and paste and edited from my lounge post)

and yes, the hero's lounge is now a MH lounge, and flame has made a mini guide which i've put up on the 2nd page. shall think of how to make the guide better and more imptly, not a repeat of the many guides out there/the MH wiki. pointless to have a copy and paste of other websites isnt it? waste of space really.

hmm... in game wise... well i got my 3 rings... nothing much other than that. hardly training/playing cos of exams, save for the daily 2 hours of fishing. yup, started fishing now so that at least my exp will move even if i dont train. these days seeing my exp increase by 1% during training is like a real big achievement... an hour at eruwaters gets me slightly more than 1%... and that's with spirit pendant. blah, i dont keep track much of my exp % growth over time... no point, it'll over make u feel depressed and not want to train. anyway i estimate i get an average of 1.5% per day of fishing, so that's ard 60days per lvl... i'd really have to put in a lot more time training is i want to reach my goal of hitting 200 before i graduate... solo training is so slow... T.T so close yet so far. last 20 levels but when will i ever get there? right now my goal is just to catch up with my guildie + fellow lounger who has stopped training... 6 more lvls to go. also going for max achilles too, lvl 16 now, 14 more sp and 5 more lvls to go... after which my level up SPs wont be used at all... the very same guildie kindly spared me his extra achilles 30, which i passed in the 1st try (sadly for him, he was trying to clear stock)... and that marks the very last skill book i'm going to scroll... possibly in my entire hero career. (oh dam, i lost the SS of me passing achilles 30!) the only books i have yet to scroll are mw30 - which is SOOOO hard to get and very far beyond my reach, monster magnet - well who the heck adds this skill???? and blocking - i dont really like blocking since i'm a 'rusher'... my rush is at max distance and i use it extensively in training/hunting, esp bump rushes. blocking will cause bump rush to fail like 15% of the time (at max lvl, but if i save my points for mw30, i will only be able to get blocking 27, leaving mw at 29, rush at 28)... not something that i look forward to... can also cause deaths in scar runs... so yeah, most likely no blocking for me though that might change if i go bossing often later on.

thinking of getting a macbook, dual boot with WINDOWS XP and attempt to go for HT runs on windows xp. VISTA SUXS TO THE CORE. with maple at least. cant even go zak properly and have to change graphics quality from 2nd lowest to lowest etc at every part of the run. heard ppl say in forums that they've gone zak, ht on macbook + xp with no problems... so that might be an option for me, but we'll see. there's always the problem of having to commit to the same time slot every week... finding a batch shdnt be that much of a problem... as long as they are looking for attackers... wat's not to like abt a 18X hero with 21k BASE HP? (provided the macbook + xp system works out fine, anyone that keeps on dc-ing is not welcomed)

next up i'm gonna continue making and scrolling my reverse + flair. 1.5k sliver coins and 93 POTs collected. gonna hold on scrolling my current flair till i make a backup sword. the problem is that i have to buy another carabella - which is SUPER hard to find these days. gonna make a reverse shoe with spd and jump crystals too. current training spd/jump at skeles is 135% spd and 115% jump, short of 5spd and 8jump to max. gonna try making and scrolling my own top + bot too... with jump/spd crystals depending on how much stats i'm short of the max movement. hmm... all these are not gonna come cheap... top + bot scrolls arent cheap PLUS they are 30% scrolls... and how many reverse swords have i boomed already? might have to start trading to earn the funds... haiz.

okays... that's enough for now. i really shd go study for tmr's paper.

okays. a couple of days ago my lappy died. sent it for repair yest... god knows how long they are gonna take (and how much its gonna cost, warranty ended le)

i really hope there's no need to reformat, cos i didnt backup my data recently, so all my assignments, lecture notes, quiz excel cheat sheet that i made, maple SSes, warrior's calculator, aran quest info for HS etc will be gone if the lappy has to be reformated... lect notes i can re-dl again.... but everything else.... and gosh it took me so long to get the calculator where it was... i had ALL the damage range (max and min, swing and stab) for ALL crusader and hero skills calculated out, for every lvl of combo and AC, and for EVERY no. of orb... gosh that took me SOOOO long to do... esp the part where i had to correlate combo/ac lvl with the no. of orbs. i.e. if u ac lvl was 1, orbs 7 to 10 will show an error msg instead of some numbers. and gosh, all that copying of damage multipliers of every lvl or every skill too me very long too... T.T gosh why did my lappy had to have an error just 1 week before my exams... why why why???????????????????????????????????

Flairgrave completed!

Yes! Finished collecting my 4.5k coins and made my flairgrave last night. Wa105, 2 str. Slightly abv average and give me a higher range than my rk. No pics since I'm on my phone once again. Unfortunately my noob att means it's not possible for me to 100% 2hko skele with def up. W/o def up probably still can make it, havengo try yet, only whacked a few eruwaters yest. Quite nice to see them missing on me haha.... Went for flair in the end rather than the blue spear tho I love blue more and it's 500coins cheaper cos blind is more useful compare to slow.
Don't dare to scroll it tho... Too precious... Wait till I make another one 1st haha. Just that the coin collecting will take quite a while and buying a cheap dragon carabella is a huge headache.

Missing inaction

Lol. Long time no blog as usual. Got my sm to max lvl at last. N got an iPhone during the is show as my 21st bday pressie :) using it to blog now while on my way to sch haha. So can't upload any pics of my sm reaching lvl 120. Heh, abandoned my sm liao, w/o even trying the koc echo. Oh wells, the lvl 12 bless was all I'm after.
Sch is ending le, aka exams are coming hais. Means that my inactivity with all maple stuff will continue... Speaking of which, I've decided to spend like 37bucks a month to afk train my hero thru fishing... Like gain ard 1.3to 2% in two hours of fishing... Well at least my exp bar will move... else I'm gonna stay at 179 forever le. Gain only 1.5% or so per hour soloing at skele with spirit pedent.. and it'll only get worst zzZ. At least now by just afking I can lvl up in 60-70 days...

So many things, so little time!

done with the 3x exp card... actually it finished long ago but as usual i didnt log in here to blog.

Went midnight zaking yest and soloed from b3 70-80%. wat a coincidence! the 1st time i went scar as attacker i also soloed b3. ok not exactly solo lah, a bs survived and got help heal and occasionally gene. amazingly i didnt dc the moment zak was summoned.... but still got the zak blinking at b3 bug... and dced the very moment zak was downed... right after i see the exp gained and caught a glimpse of the drops. heard the switching from 2nd lowest quality to lowest at every segment of the battle will prevent the problem... but of cos i only hear abt it the day after... sad i cant get my zak cert and zak rehelm... but at least i already agreed with bs to share drops so i'll still get some $. can only trust that the bs wont cheat me of the $...

anyway wat happened was that we went in at like 1+am, my friend formed a pt of 6, 2 dk, 2 hero, 1 aran, and a bs... only 2 other ppl entrance to zak and we decided to play nasty and booted them both out - a 13x NL and a not too high lvled aran... arms was quite ez... just that all warriors... top right arm all jumping jumping, except the 17X dk stand at top... dunnoe why the 13X dk dont want stand at top also. maybe cos he no stance/stance lvl low bah. the aran like totally cant hit anything... 13X aran i think, bo freeze standing aka stance. see him kena kb all the time, esp at the last (upper right) arm. even when i do see him deal damage its like 4k, 5k nia. he cant rack up the combos AT ALL. heh... i believe even the 13X dk did more damage than him.

then comes b1. me and other hero tank body to whack while 17X dk over >>> side to use berserk. aran dunnoe why want follow us tank body... tomb lah duh - unless he got wash alot of hp... 13X aran tank body is like.... o.o no auto pet somemore, i bet he was waiting for bs to heal (which didnt happen then gg). our bs didnt heal much till b3, he very generous with pots... spam gene at arms and body :D. even b3 he also dare spam gene. even than also will get stunned --> even more breaks in healing. so 1st death bs can revive... then the 13X dk... dunnoe wat happened to him... was during super WD up, so we all go top to tank mobs. then super WD up ended, we all jump back down to whack zak... he just jump down nia str tomb liao... no idea what happened, he didnt jump too far and end up hitting zak body, nor do i remember there being a 1/1 that occurred just prior to his death... *shrugs* oh wells, some things we may just nvr find out.

then whack whack whack... till reach b3... then i started getting scared cos i see zak body disappear whenever there's super WD or MD up etc... scared me so much so that i stopped tanking zak body... then at one of the 1/1... my hero friend bo pot, i noticed the hp bar abv his head remained empty... bs lai bu ji heal also (plus like i said, this bs is not the spam 10 heal per second kind, got quite a lot of breaks in his healing)... and my friend blur blur still continue his walk right... touch body or kena some other skill and gg. then the dk decided to go out also... dunnoe when he left, bo inform us also, only noticed after my friend died that drk also gone! left me and bs... okays, so the chance i've been waiting for to "hijack" a zak run and solo the last bit came, duh i went ahead and continue the run. bs nicely stayed on to heal also, and luckily he stay else i wont get any meso from the run... gd thing i went repot before the run... but even than total only use like 300-400 honsters, not a lot lah. didnt dare tank zak b3 at 1st also, cos only have 20k hp w/o hb... but after that got sick of the stun and just bang body. thankfully my pet auto hp pouch didnt miss any potting during the run... esp at that particular time when i was going to jump into zak body (went out during super wd up)... i started the jump into zak body le then got hit with 1/1... heng pet potted for me straight away else i'm sure i wld have died.

anyway, that was the 1st time i went zak as attacker (tried once earlier but dc once zak summoned). no SSes cos i scared i'll dc once i take SS (happened in scar, but thankfully that was at the end of the run)... wanted to take SS of the drops but well... i dc-ed once zak down...

so yeah, an update on my lvl... hero 178 le, and will be stuck there for super long. the whole zak run yest only gave me like 1.8X%.... -.-''' if i train 1% a day i'll lvl in like a month's time since i'm at 78% now... NW finally 3rd job le... but went skeles as realise acc way too low, skele reduce to 1hp le but wont die. later found that need lvl 74 to train at skeles... so now no mood play NW le. SM stuck at 108, not more free hunter's lk aka 2x exp, no mood train...

guess now i'll focus more on other things, like HS updates, and the all in one warrior's calculator i'm trying to make. also got other things like my website and rather neglected training grounds guide to do... oh gosh... haven gone kerning square yet... might make good training grounds for low lvls to add in my guide... T.T okays, a lot of things to do, so little time....

550m poorer but a happy hero

was tempted when i saw so many mw20 for sale in fm... knew i wont settle for anything till i tried passing the SB... subsequently convinced myself that i'll farm at neo tokyo 3rd map to get mesos for another book if the worst thing happened... finally decided to just go ahead with the purchase and scrolled it right away.... very very glad that the book passed! now i'l try and chiong to 168 by this weekend and get mw 19. hope to get lvl 20+ rush by the time the 3x card ends. currently able to do 50% per night at skeles soloing, with the help of some family personal 2x buffs... and yes, the spirit pendant... sadly the spirit pendant event ends next wedn... trainings will slow down quite a lot after that... still hope to hit 174 at least by 7th feb... oh wells, really depends on how the exp per hour drops off as i lvl...

hope to be able to 2hko skeles even with def up real soon, that'll mean i can anyhow rush my way thru skeles, and shd spd up training a notch. also have 4lvls of AP in hp unwashed now. hoping that will have sales during CNY... well either way i'm holding off washing out the AP till after CNY when i get some ang bao $ ><

hero left with 3Xm only... well more than adequate for my normal training purposes. gotta set up shop soon to sell the scrolls and pots though, my storage use inv is overflowing... not sure whether to sell the ele wands and eqs i got from box event now or to wait a bit longer...

amazing, just a few days ago i trained with a 194 BS - 1st time training with BS ever at skeles... the BS was apologizing that he didnt have mw20... i was thinking, hey, i probably wont get mw20 at his lvl too... and now... :D :D :D

actually i think i have enough scrolls and eq to make maybe... close to 400m? i dont know, not TOO sure of mkt prices now... would put me close to enough mesos to get a scrolled ht neck (saw one sold at 1.05b), but then a quick mental sums shows that with my str standing at 746 now (and some 20 points unwashed), mw 20 gives an extra 37 str, more than the 22 str from ht neck... so if i could pass mw20 on the 2nd try, its probably still more worth it than getting a ht neck... and since i'm rushing lvls now with the 3x card, lvling up to get sp to reach mw lvl 19 isnt a problem. of cos, the consolation that i have an iceberg (if i nvr rem wrongly?) to sell if i fail the sb and waste 550m made me DARE to even buy the book...

still waiting for the mark of narican to come out (check HS global if u dont know wat it is), but i think the next piece of eq upgrade i'm going for is probably the ht neck - unless the MoN or some other neck appears in the mean time. i mean... at the price tag of 1b, the ht neck is probably the cheapest eq i can upgrade... 1b gets only a wa16 MS now, 2wa lower than my current. i'm not sure if it can get me an upgrade from my wa12 glove, but i think at most i can get is say wa14 - ht neck adds 21str more than my mcpq neck, that's ard 4wa upgrade? top and bottom... i'm thinking of item maker + self scroll... shoes i'll still stick with spd shoes, and i dont need the dex anyway... and i'd rather item make my own shoes with power crystal... basically nothing much i can think of upgrading... cape i think anything better than wa3, str 4 would be... quite ex... would 1b be sufficient? haiz... anyways, i think i'll still go farming after my 3x ends. with the extremely slow training w/o buffs/cards i doubt i'd be in the mood to train anyway.

sch has started... as of now i'm tippity tapping on my keyboard in the sch pantry...

managed to bring hero to lvl yest after a long night... now at lvl 5 rush. in the end i went ahead with my original plans to add rush to lvl 14 or 28 before achilles, since it is highly unlikely that i'll get a ht batch at all, and apart from ht, pb and auf haven, other bosses pretty much doesnt need achilles to survive... and i guess i wont be whacking those bosses anytime soon.

anyway my rush got a 5% range upgrade, seems pretty significant even at that slight upgrade. i'll most likely go ahead with adding till lvl 28 rush then start on achilles. unless i can get mw20 anytime in between, tho that seems unlikely unless my luck changed with the monster box event... even then i may not be opening anymore boxes.

trying to get to 173 at least b4 my 3x monthly card ends. after that i doubt i'd continue with the daily 4 hours of torture and that means i wont be lvling up at all... like at 3% per hour soloing at 164... i guess it'll drop to 2% per hour at 17X... that means say 50hours of training per lvl... real hell i tell you... pure torture!

okays, going to get back with my timetable plotting. gonna do up the SM sp allocation guide soon. 2nd time someone asked for it in the past 7 days... o.o

and of cos, from 10-2am everyday i'm with my hero at skeles. gosh this is getting insane!
