Well it's been a while since I played mmorpgs on my lappy too.
Definitely would like to start playing once more though.
Right now, I'm looking at elder scrolls online and guild wars 2, since both play on the mac (no need for bootcamp yay!) and only require a one time fee (no need for subscriptions, hurrah). Oh and dota 2. Would definitely love to give DOTA another try now that I'm more familiar with MOBAs thanks to Vainglory on mobile. I think I'd hold my horses till I get a new computer though, which *should* happen in November... but then again... my insides are totally tingling with excitement now....
The only download is that these games take up HUGE space. The requirements for Elder Scrolls Online is 80 gb. Well there's 200 GB free on my dad's lappy now, but still, it's my dad's lappy. Not mine. Mine is old and dying with less than 10 gb of free space. So yeah. I think I better wait.
Found a cool site call g2a.com too, what they do is let people resell the online gaming keys, because gaming keys are sold at different prices in different countries. That way, you can get the cheapest, legit gaming key!
For example, on steam, Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Imperial Edition, it sells for SGD 75.00. On G2A, I can get copies for just over SGD 52. That's over 20 bucks of savings!
Oh gosh, I just checked. Guild Wars 2 is now free to play... you only need to pay for expansion packs. Gosh. That sounds really exciting! Gonna check it out now!
